Today we have been exploring Georges Marvellous Medicine and writing descriptions of Grandma. We pretended to be Grandma, we walked like she did, we looked mean and we waved a pointy finger. We thought about effective words to use and tried to start our sentences in different ways. We also drew pictures of Grandma.
How would you describe Georges Grandma? Do you like her? Why not?
Grandma was very cross and she always stares at George when she sits by the window. She has a long pointy chin and a scowling face. I don’t like her because she always scares George.
