Tuesday 5th February is Safer Internet Day and to start it off to great start here is a really useful link which looks at how to set up internet security at home to help keep your children safe when using the internet.

Throughout the day KS2 children will be taking part in a challenge, they have to write Esafety advice only using 140 characters. This advice will be tweeted throughout the day on the school Twitter account. You can see the advice being tweeted using the website

If you search for #HCPSesafetyadvice you will see how the children have got on with the challenge as well as all the useful advice being given.

 

KS1 children will be using apps to create comic strips to promote safe use of the internet and , Foundation stage will be meeting Smartie Penguin and thinking about who would we ask for help
