Today we visited Worsbrough Mill. The sun shone and we had a great time. The first part of the visit was spent hunting for mini beasts, we found lots of different kinds of insects. Can you remember how we identify insects?
We spent the afternoon exploring the mill, it was really interesting!
I enjoyed the bug hunt I got a butterfly, slug, worm and spider.

I really enjoyed doing the bug hunt because we cought lots of insecs .
I liked the school trip because we went on a bug hunt I found a spider two snails and an earwig. I enjoyed the school trip because I nearly caught a grass snake!
I enjoyed Worsbrough mill because it was a good walk to see the creatures and it was really fun in the mill but my feet hurt after that long walk.
The bug catching looked great fun.
I really enjoyed walking through the forest and looking at all the crawly creatures. We found out what they were by looking at the legs and if they had wings. We made a tally chart for how many different creatures we saw if we saw a bug we would write it down and the we would make gates to see how many of that creature we saw.
