Once upon a time, there was a boy called Dan who had no excitement in his life. One day while his parents were cooking dinner he sneaked off and ran into the woods, on the other side of the woods there was a volcano, at the bottom of the volcano, there was a pattern in the mud, Dan thought it was a birds footsteps but decided to follow them. the footsteps led Dan to the top of the volcano, he went inside the volcano where it was dark, he couldn’t see the footprints any more. he lost his balance and fell into the dark volcano, at the bottom was a deep dark cave. he went into the cave. dan could hear scarey noises and loud footsteps, he was very frightened. He could see a dark shadow, it came closer, it was an ogre! Dan ran for his life, the ogre chased after Dan , the ogre was shouting come back I want to help you. dan was tired of running so he stopped and listened to the ogre. The ogre showed Dan the way out of the volcano, and adman helped the ogre out, and took him back home for tea. Dans mum said he could stay as long as he washed his hands. dan was never bored again as he had an ogre to play with.
