This week Y3/4 have been investigating the relationship between Miranda and Caliban. In pairs the children improvised Caliban taking Miranda around the island and sharing the ‘isle is full of noises,

I wonder what Caliban showed Miranda?
We sore a banana tree. I can see the Sun shining at me.
I like the Tempest and when we learn about the Tempest it makes me comfidant about performing.

Caliban caliban what can you see? I can see a huge waterfall coming down the mountain.
Caliban caliban what can you see? I can see a large cave in the distens.
Caliban caliban what can you see? I can see lots of big coco beans hanging from the trees.

I know wat Prosprow is doing.
He is planing more spells.
Caliban took Miranda around the island and they saw … A cocoanut tree , a cave , a waterfall , a beach, a forrest and finaly sum pebal’s.
I wonder what were going to do next?
I can see a huge waterfall with freezing cold water falling from it.
I saw a crab crawling along the sea shore, snip snip!
I can see the cold waves coming up on to the shore , splash splash!
I can see the dark cave in the distance!
I really enjoyed been shown around the island.

I can see some coconuts growing on a high tree, and feel the hot sand between my toes! I can see a huge ocean with a boat on the ocean.
I loved the acting because we get to work with other people.
I can see a high water fall flowing down the mountain!
I can also see huge palm trees waving in the breezs !
I can see a colourful parrot in the trees!
I can see a sandy beach on the shore!
I really enjoid creating the storm with our bodies.

I can see some bumpy bamboo.
We have enjoined lerning about the tempest. I liked when we did the music with our body’s.
