We have had another fantastic day today.
First we worked on our designs for the calendar competition. Can you work out which local monuments we have used and which months our designs represent?
Then this afternoon we worked with Mrs Wilkie to learn and add some elements to the Hoyland Hop!
We really hope you can join us at the showcase on Friday to see all our amazing work. We may even teach you the Hoyland Hop!

Thank you for making me so welcome at Hoyland Common Primary School this week. I have enjoyed choreographing the Hoyland Hop with you all because you have given me so much energy and enthusiasm. In such a short space of time I am impressed that you have used your research to create interesting movements to contribute to the final dance. You have been very busy thinking, creating and moving! You were very fast learners to pick up the chorus section so quickly too, and I have loved seeing my work come to life through your interpretations of my choreography. The Hoyland Hop is unique and I am looking forward to the showcase on Friday. Well done to you all!
